Hokaar Home Page

Transliterated from Hebrew, Hokaar (pronounced Hoe'-kayr) means life-long student.

Mission Statement:

Hokaar.org is a loose organisation of individuals who contribute their time and efforts to the simple cause of learning and teaching in the academic realm. Projects range from making available teaching materials and resources, providing a computing tools and a computing cluster for use by researchers, to providing web space to post researcher's work.

Hokaar.org is strictly a volunteer organisation. We have no budget and accept no donations. We request, but not demand, that our members keep a journal of their researches on the hokaar.org website available to the general public. We encourage members to only utilise GPL software and to support responsible internet practices.

To protect our members from abuses of the internet, we no longer provide a list of members or links their web pages on this page unless they request it.
